

Avoid eating a large meal 1-2 hours before a class.
Remain well hydrated, drink lots of water.
Wear loose comfortable clothing that will not restrict your movements.
Our studio has a large firm mat, no need to bring your Yoga mat.
Socks can be worn in the cold weather, but may compromise stability.
Bring a blanket and a small pillow for end of session.
Please switch off cell phones whilst class is in session.
No spectators or children present during adult classes.
Sick students should not practice until better.
Abandon the competitive mindset. Yoga is absolutely non-competitive. It is also not merely a physical fitness workout program.
Please be punctual - Yoga is a discipline - and we expect students to arrive 5-10 Minutes prior to class start. Don’t expect to leave before class has finished.
Students with chronic disorders and injuries or those that are pregnant should check with their doctors before commencing classes.
Relax into each pose, do not strain or force and never stretch or bend to the point of pain. Breathe.
